WHEN: Sunday, April 26 from 12-5PM
WHERE: Antietam Creek – Crystal Lake/Carsonia Park Cleanup
AVCP will be partnering with the Mount Penn Borough Municipal Authority (MPBMA) to continue clean-up of the Antietam creek and a spring clean-up at Carsonia park and around Crystal Lake.
The location is the Antietam Pool parking lot.
The event only postpones for heavy rain.
The Water Authority will provide pizza and water for the volunteers. AVCP will provide drinks and snacks.
AVCP will man the sign in table at the big parking lot of the pool. All volunteers will have to sign a waiver before starting work. From there the volunteers can decide which type of work they prefer. Snacks and drinks will be available all day at this sight. Work gloves, tools, trash bags and 5-gallon buckets will be distributed from this sight as well. We will also have one port-a-pot in that lot, and one in the small lot.
Anyone under the age of 16 will have to be accompanied by an adult.
